We are a small farm producer: our honey and other hive products come from our own bees, and quantities depend on the season.

How an order works

1. Choose your products and send the order from the cart on the website.
2. The order you send is a request: we get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email to confirm availability, the total and how it will be delivered.
3. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order.

The minimum order is €15.00. If a product is no longer available we'll tell you before confirming, and you won't pay anything for that product.

Prices

Prices shown on the website are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately in the cart before you send the order.

Collection, delivery and shipping

• Collection: free, by appointment in Palermo.
• Delivery in Palermo: €5.00.
• Shipping within Italy: €12.00, free on orders of €60.00 or more. Eggs and fresh products are not shipped: collection or Palermo delivery only.

Delivery times are agreed when we confirm the order.

Payment

The website does not collect any payment card details. You can pay:

• on delivery or collection, in cash or using the methods we let you know about;
• by bank transfer in advance: we send you our bank details with the order confirmation.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and received the products through a distance sale, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason (Articles 52 onwards of the Italian Consumer Code). Just let us know by email or with a clear statement, which can include the standard withdrawal form provided for by law.

Products must be returned intact, unopened and in their original packaging within 14 days of telling us. Return costs are paid by you. We refund what you paid, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving the products back.

The right of withdrawal does not apply (Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code) to:

• products that are liable to deteriorate or go off quickly, such as eggs and fresh products;
• sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened, such as opened jars of honey or bottles of olive oil;
• packs made up at your request or personalised.

Guarantee and damaged products

If a product arrives broken, different from what you ordered or not as described, write to us within a few days with a photo. We will replace it or refund you. Your legal rights for goods that do not conform to the contract still apply (Articles 128 onwards of the Italian Consumer Code).

Honey is a natural product: it can crystallise over time or in cooler weather. This isn't a defect; in fact it shows the honey hasn't been processed. Honey should not be given to babies under one year old.

Complaints and disputes

If anything goes wrong, write to us at info (at) agricolatarantino.com: we always try to sort things out directly. The contract is governed by Italian law; for consumers, the competent court is the one where the consumer lives.
