Hooray, it's honey extraction time
We've worked hard, and at last our honey is ready. Frame by frame, it's time for the honey extraction.
Hooray! Honey extraction is the moment we wait for all year. We remove the wax cappings the bees use to seal the cells, put the frames in the extractor and the honey starts to flow. Then it rests, gets filtered and goes into jars.
Behind every jar are months of caring for the bees, and all their tireless work among the flowers of Palermo.
